WE HELP PASTORS AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS GET BACK TO LEADING
The Resonance takes over the operational work that pulls you away from it. Finance, HR, compliance, systems, transitions. We assess for ninety days, agree on the priorities, and execute them.
START WITH AN ASSESSMENT
CLOSE THE GAP
SOUND FAMILIAR?
- Your bookkeeper left, and nobody else knows how payroll runs.
- The audit is in six weeks and the books are three months behind.
- You have spent more time this month on personnel files than on the work you were called to.
- Your handbook describes an organization you stopped being years ago.
- Someone essential is leaving, and everything they know is leaving with them.
- You found out from someone else that your nonprofit status had lapsed.
- The building keeps breaking, and it keeps becoming your problem.
None of that is a leadership failure. It is an infrastructure failure, and infrastructure can be rebuilt.
WE REBUILD WHAT'S UNDERNEATH
The day-to-day activities of most of the organizations we work with tend to tell a different story from the clear mission that they have. This gap is generally not due to a lack of vision; it results from factors such as budgets, payroll records, personnel files, filings, and various processes that have been left unrecorded and developed as different people have taken over responsibility for them.
We identify the gap between what an organization claims to be and how it really operates, and then reconstruct the underlying infrastructure until the two sides align. In some cases this involves giving advice but more frequently we take on the role ourselves as interim Operations Director, Director of Administration, or interim CEO and carry out the necessary work.
We consider money, buildings, compliance, and staffing to be part of a single system, since that is how they actually fail or break down.

HOW IT WORKS
-
01
ASSESS
What is actually happening?
The first ninety days are diagnostic. Finances, staffing, compliance, systems, facilities, and the gap between the written policy and the real practice. We do not prescribe before we understand.
-
02
PRIORITIZE
What has to be fixed first?
A short, ordered plan that you approve. Sequenced by risk and dependency. What is most likely to hurt you, and what has to happen before anything else can.
-
03
EXECUTE
Who is doing the work?
We are. We don't leave you with a report you are left to implement alone. We run the cleanup, the filings, the rebuild, the hiring, and the transition.
-
04
HAND OFF
What happens when we leave?
Documented processes, trained staff, and a clear exit. The goal of every engagement is to make ourselves unnecessary.
